Walgreen's and Ganz have teamed up to form the  program. Pets with special red tags will be available in Walgreens with money going to the Webkinz Foundation which is dedicated to improving the welfare, development, health, and safety of children.

Webkinz Cares foundation is now aviable at Walgreens for only $6.99 per lil' kinz. They only get one order, and the only webkinz that are part of the Webkinz Cares program are lil' kinz and they're only 3 different ones per month.

In the preview of the Webkinz Gecko in the newspaper Webkinz catalog, you can see a different pet specific item! Current Gecko adoptions recieve a Loungin' Lizard Chair, although it shows a Spotted Television. Could this be the pet specific item for the future Spotted Leopard Webkinz? Only time will tell.
